Experienced engineer adds greater depth to Bay Area engineering firm
OAKLAND, Calif., January 25, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Coffman Engineers Inc. (“Coffman”) is pleased to welcome Senior Discipline Engineer Ray Barro, PE, CGBP, to the Bay Area’s civil engineering department.
The addition of Mr. Barro reflects the company’s plan to expand civil engineering and land development planning services for their Bay Area clients. Mr. Barro has over 19 years of experience which include utility, grading, hydrology design and construction management services for private, public, local municipalities and utility service providers. Together with the other civil engineers on the team, Mr. Barro adds more capacity and services to support Bay Area clients.

Mr. Barro has led project teams for numerous project sites for commercial, mixed-use and residential development sites throughout the Bay Area and will continue project management and business development support at Coffman. A few of Mr. Barro’s notable California projects include Bohannon Development’s San Mateo Hillsdale Mall North Block Expansion - a 12-acre site currently under construction; Carmel Partners' Oakland Jack London Square Fourth Street East – a 330-unit mixed-use residential community currently under construction; and Grosvenor America’s Los Gatos North 40 – a 40-acre mixed-use master-planned community, currently in phase 1 construction.
